Great-Great-Grandma's 100th! And a wedding.

Dear Caida,

You got to spend a LOT of time with me last weekend!  Between your great-great-grandma Griffey's 100th birthday celebration in Delphi and the Jenny Connolly wedding reception, Saturday was a BUSY day for us. And you stayed the night so you could come to church with me on Sunday and then see your friend Kensi get baptized.  It was a very eventful weekend!  :)  Here are some pics of the Saturday festivities:

We told you you couldn't eat or play until we had said hello to gram and taken all the pictures we needed...so you wiggled your way right between them and posed!  :)  Hahaha, you will do ANYTHING for food!

Awww, 3 generations.  Grandpa Mike wasn't there yet and Grandma Tucker passed away almost two years ago, so these are the only 3 generations of women we could capture.

You and your aunt Charissa chattin' up Gram.  :)

Great Great Grandma Elsie Louise Cunningham Griffey and all her great-great-grandchildren that could make it.

The great-grandchildren...can you find me, Mommy, and Aunt Charissa?

The grandchildren...can you find Grandpa Mike?

The children...5 of the 7, anyway.

A small but sweet pic of me, Mommy, and Aunt Charissa with Gram.  :)
These next pictures were from the photobooth at the Connolly/Hanselmann reception.  :)
Me, "Monkey Paul," and you.

Adding in Grandpa Mike and Grandma Carri and the boys, Uncles Ben and Luke.

You are so stinkin' cute. :)

I actually made this picture the background for my iPhone.  It looks AWESOME with the icons hovering over your head.  :)
You sure are a loved one, kiddo!  I worry about you with all the adjustments you're going through right now, but at the same time I am so happy for you and proud of you.  You're going to school at Battle Ground Elementary now--our alma matter!--and taking first grade again.  Hopefully now that your seizures are a little more under control you won't miss too much school...but you sure are good at milkin' the situation for all it's worth!  You're living with Mommy and Casey and three sweet kiddos and learning what it means to have siblings and a nice "dad" figure around.  I know there are a lot of changes and that it's not always easy, and especially right now you want more attention from Mommy, but you are growing up right before our eyes and you are up to the challenge!  It's so fun to see you become a "real person" with full-in-bloom personality blossoming.  You're also quite tricky sometimes.  Like the other day when you hid your melatonin in your gum and I didn't find it until the next day.  We had a nice, long chat about the importance of taking care of your body--including ALL your medicines--and being trustworthy and honest as you're growing up.  Some moments you scare me, but most of the time you are such a happy, vibrant, funny, goofy, silly, quirky kid that I think you have it all figured out already and I'M the one that needs to learn from you.  :)

Sure do love you, CaidaLee!

Lots o' Love,
Aunt Celeste
