Has it really been 2 years since I posted last? Wow, I gotta get on it! :) Well there's no way I can catch up to that BUT I can start fresh and fill in the gaps when the mood strikes.
Here's a post I put on Facebook yesterday after your softball games.:
"My "top 10" favorite parts of CaidaLee's softball games are, in no particular order:
1. When she gets excited and yells out, "Vote for Caida, for mayor or president!"
2. When she is so busy playing rock paper scissors with her helper that she forgets she's playing in a softball game.
3. When she crosses home plate and does her unique-each-time victory dance and pose for the camera.
4. When she cheers on anyone by name, whether she knows them or not, whether she is on their team or not.
5. When she tells the coach she's got his back, then throws the ball in a ridiculous direction.
6. When she hits the ball on the first try.
7. When she tries to have a conversation with the whole family in the middle of a game, no matter if the talking points are appropriate for public ears or not.
8. When she constantly misplaces her glove, water bottle, hat, etc...that kid would lose her head if it weren't attached! (She's like her aunt that way.)
9. When she shows us just what she is made of...like when she had a seizure last year on the field and then got up to bat. The girl can be FIERCE...unless there's blood. :)
10. Watching her smile, laugh, and interact with people, and seeing them respond in kind. which is her favorite thing and her life's gift.
