December 28, 2013 was a BIG day for your family! You and your two step brothers (Warren and Justin) chose to get baptized and confirmed a member of the church! I played the piano. Uncle Kyle, who was one of my best friends when I was your age, gave a talk on baptism and Aunt Charissa gave one on the Holy Ghost. It was a lively baptism because six of the Allen brothers and their families were able to make it! AND because you kept interacting with the speakers, even if you didn't know the answers. :) Oh Caida, I love your innocent enthusiasm for the gospel and your willingness to just jump right in whether you know it or not! You know the important things, like Jesus loves you, and that's enough. I think that's what it means to have faith even like a child. You are always teaching me!
It was such a special day. Thanks for letting me be a part of it! I hope you know how much I love and treasure the gospel in my life. It has gotten me through some very hard times, and I know it can for you, too.
